  • Works fully offline

    Count in basements, cold rooms and warehouses with no coverage. Changes queue in an outbox and sync automatically when a connection returns.

  • Barcode scanning

    Use the phone camera to find a product and add it to a count in one motion. Search by name, barcode or category when a label is missing.

  • Stock count sessions

    Pick products by scan or search, enter counted quantities, and see expected vs counted with variance before you save.

  • Catalogue on the phone

    Edit stock, price, notes and custom fields from the floor. Everything is available even when the device is offline.

    Upload a CSV or XLSX in the admin dashboard, or add products one by one. Barcodes, prices, categories and custom fields come along.

    Count on the phone, online or offline

    Members open a count session, scan or search, and enter quantities. No signal? Keep going. The app syncs later.

    Review variance on the dashboard

    See expected vs counted, highlighted variances and who counted what. Export to CSV or update stock levels.

Offline, properly

Built for places where Wi-Fi gives up

Most inventory apps pretend to work offline until the first save fails. Tranz Inventory is designed from the ground up to read and write locally.

  • Local first

    Every screen reads from a database on the phone, so lists, search and scanning are instant and never depend on the network.

  • Outbox queue

    Each edit or saved count is written to a local outbox. A pending-changes indicator shows how many items are waiting.

  • Watermark sync

    When the device is back online, the outbox uploads and the app pulls only records changed since its last sync watermark. Small, fast, automatic.

  • Predictable conflicts

    If the same record was edited twice, the most recent write wins. No surprise merges, no stuck records.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Does the app really work without any internet connection?

Yes. Every screen in the mobile app reads from a local database on the device. You can search products, scan barcodes, run count sessions and edit products with no signal at all. Changes are queued in an outbox and sent automatically the moment the device is back online.

What happens if two people edit the same product while offline?

Conflicts are resolved by last-write-wins: the most recent change to a record is kept. Stock count sessions are saved per member, so two people counting the same shelf never overwrite each other's count.

Which devices are supported?

The mobile app is built with Flutter and runs on Android and iOS phones. The admin dashboard runs in any modern web browser.

How do members and devices work?

Admins create members in the dashboard with an optional membership expiry date. Each member can be signed in on one device at a time; if a phone is lost or replaced, an admin resets the device lock in one click.

Where is my data stored?

Your data lives in a Neon Postgres database with the dashboard and API hosted on Vercel. Both are serverless and scale automatically. Access is protected with email and password, per-device sessions and a full audit trail of admin actions.

How is pricing structured?
